The Gujrati thepla, and the German kurta

If you get bugged from your life, monotonous, bored, take a sleeper class train journey.
A sleeper class train journey is like a big splash of water on your face, it's like eating that new, completely unknown dish which surprises your taste buds like never before, it's like that music, which you might not have chosen to listen on any random day, but now since you have heard, it amazes you how you are getting addicted to it..
Well, a journey from Bangalore to Mumbai, and a banquet of experiences..!
Some random strangers asked to spend a day together in a train is an interesting experience.
I meet an uncle, extremely simple, with a ready smile, married yet separated from his wife for 20 years, and living alone. He confesses since my mother died, I am lonely. I have started having sleep problems. It also stated after my retirement...
I found a friend, lonely like me, we lived three years together.. Then his daughter took him away. He says simply, I had a son, he died when he was three and a half..
I asked him about marriage. He tells me, it's okay one should do it. It is ultimately about living happily. Whether in marriage, or otherwise. It's okay, not every case will turn out like mine!
By the away, he was Gujrati and had amazing thepla, which he fed me 
Second, a met an interesting German guy, Milan. This was his fourth trip to India. He has traveled the length and breadth of this country. A free spirited, adventures, amazing person. A kurta clad, tea addict! Cycle mechanic, teaches kids, lives in a car, wants to study sociology and wants to ride on a cotton truck!
We chatted for the whole trip not less than 6 hours, about politics, about life, democracy, freedom, fear, his life, his decisions, my life, my decisions. We shared books to read, we ate together. It was amazing how that one day trip influences you in so many ways!
It was a 500 rs trip from Bangalore to Mumbai, and it was much more than that!
